• Holistic Nurse - The Documentary. This project, which is currently in the developmental stages and has the potential for dynamic impact on public awareness and professionals in the healthcare field, is a documentary that will explore holistic nurses in action as they integrate traditional nursing skills with a holistic approach to patient care, along with in-depth interviews. This documentary will introduce the scientific research and evidence, used as a basis for a holistic practice, promoting public awareness for resources, and self-care through interviews and easy learning animated segments. This documentary will not only help individuals learn about how they can begin to include holism and gain empowerment and knowledge for Mind, Body, & Life, but will also educate other nurses, and healthcare professionals, as well as other holistic practitioners about holistic nurses - who we are and what we do. This documentary can truly accelerate the ongoing national movement from the mechanical allopathic medicine and practice, to holistic and integrative approaches in mainstream healthcare. For so many years, nurses have quietly gone about integrating holistic and complementary therapies for patient care, laboring (with love) often in the background. Now it’s time to bring nurses to the forefront of holistic education, practice and expertise. • Publishing, Television & Film: connecting those Network Members who can write articles and healthcare tips with legitimate publishing mediums, including web publications, newspapers, and magazines, or provide television/film interviews to share their expertise, along with all other goals listed, and future projects. Potential for a script writing group. Promote Network Member scripts, screenplays, for t.v. and film which have a holistic philosophy and foster holistic healing through story telling.

• The Faces of Holistic Nursing Web Page: An inclusive project in this area, is the development of a web page that will support visibility of Holistic Nurses Across the country, promoting their practice and providing a personal voice in holistic nursing, along with a personal picture or a picture, which represents themselves or their practice. Please email me if you would like to be a part of this unique project to help illuminate the faces and voices of holistic nurses. I will send you a sample and space size for you to fill in anything you’d like about you, your practice, and your journey. Please spread the word, as there is no limit to the amount of those of you who can participate.

• Web Radio and/or cable show: A potential future project would be to develop and implement a web radio or local cable show, which will promote the same goals as above. Lisette, myself, and other Network members have already begun technical training for cable shows, provided at no cost by the local cable company, who also provide studios, equipment and 'air time' at no charge.

• Networking Events: The goal here is to establish Networking Events that bring together community business', organizations, learning institutions, and the public, hosted by our Network, which would support Network goals.

Education: For the purposes of Public Awareness & Professional Learning, the goal will be to include providing CEU and non-CEU learning through events, lectures, classes, workshops, etc., initially through Network Leader provision, but with the goal of fostering Network Member opportunities (both voluntary and paid appearances) to establish educational leadership and expertise in holistic nursing and integrative healthcare. These educational events can also be promoted and/or documented through film, web, and print mediums. This goal is also interconnected with all other goals listed.

Tri-County Network: To interconnect, support and flourish in partnership with our local, sister, Tri-County Network as a new Network Leader emerges, and to fill the transitional void as much as possible if there is a lapse in leadership. In this case the Tri-County Network would be put into a temporary in-active status. Updates will be posted here, and sent out via e-news.

Membership: Promote, Encourage and Advance awareness of AHNA, and membership, through HNIH Network mission, goals and projects.
